Veteran’s Memorial Park in Bolton Landing is a small park with a beach, boat docks, pavilion, playground and basketball court. The park is dedicated to residents of the Town of Bolton who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

A large grassy area with tables and grills provide space for guests to have cookouts and picnics, while the beach offers refreshment on a hot day. The beach is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day during the summer, and lifeguards are on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a $5 parking fee. Pets are not allowed in the park.

Across from the beach, visitors will see the island on which the Sagamore Resort and Hotel is located. The Sagamore is a luxurious hotel with a rich history.

To the north lies Rogers Rock Campground, a 322-site New York State campground on the western shore of Lake George. To the south, the Village of Lake George provides an array of entertainment including steamboat tours, parasailing, hiking to Prospect Mountain and a host of shops and restaurants.
