The Triple Falls Trail is a short, well-maintained trail that leads to an iconic set of three waterfalls that are over 120 feet tall when measured together. Because the trail is so well maintained and has such a high payoff for the effort, the falls are often quite crowded. Visiting during rainy days or early in the morning will often yield an experience with more solitude.

The wide gravel path is suitable for rugged strollers and wheelchairs for the first quarter mile, but it quickly becomes steeper than many will be comfortable with.

A broad overlook with a bench awaits at the top of the steep hill, rewarding hikers with a spectacular view of all three tiers of the falls. Just beyond the overlook and a sharp turn to the right there is a large shelter with picnic tables that offers visitors and picnickers respite from the sun or rain. From this shelter, the bottom tier of the falls is clearly visible.

Across the trail from the shelter the Triple Falls Trail begins its descent to river level via a set of stairs with large landings and benches along the way. At the bottom hikers will find themselves in the large flat area between the second and third tiers of the falls. Many people choose to swim, sunbathe, and climb to the top of the second tier, but be careful because the bedrock is slippery when wet.
