Port Orford's 12th Street Boat Launch is a small park with the boat ramp along with a covered picnic bench, bathrooms, and a small pier over the scenic arm of Garrison Lake. The 117-acre Garrison Lake is popular for fishing, especially for trout. As a quiet estuary just beside the ocean, the small portion of the lake where the boat ramp is located gives boaters the opportunity to put in at a small protected cove, from which the larger main body of Garrison Lake can be easily accessed.

There is no fee for using the boat ramp. State fishing regulations apply.
