Baker Beach Campground is located along the Central Oregon Coast just north of Florence. The close-to-town location is popular in the summer but quiet in the winter. It’s mostly popular with horseback riders and is set up with their use in mind. The small, first-come, first-served campground has only five sites, but they're large enough to accommodate horse trailers. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Trees line the campground and provide plenty of shade. There is one vault toilet near the day-use parking area and fee station. There is no potable water or garbage service, so plan accordingly.

From the campground there are trails leading to Baker Beach and Lily Lake. Additional trails, which head up into the forest, are located on the other side of Highway 101. All trails are open to hikers and horseback riders.

Note: The dry sand beach is closed March 15 through September 15 due to snowy plover nesting. Visitors must remain on the trail and once on the beach walk on wet sand only, close to the water's edge. Dogs, kites, drones, and vehicles (including bikes) are prohibited during this time. Please check posted signs before heading out on the beach.
