With 308 RV/campsites, the little-known* Barview Jetty Campground is actually Oregon's second largest campground after Fort Stevens State Park Campground farther up the coast.

Located within Barview Jetty County Park, the campground caters to a wide variety of guests. It features a 69-site full hook-up RV park, large and private car/tent sites that are nestled up against the ocean's edge, and numerous walk-in style campsites that are tucked away under shore pine and dune grass.  The campground also has a fish cleaning station, restrooms, showers (which cost $0.50 for 4 minutes, so bring plenty of quarters), along with a 100-foot sand dune on the park's eastern edge that kids love to climb up and slide back down.

*Surprisingly, the campground, often overlooked by non-coastal residents, has long been a popular destination with locals, making weekend reservations difficult to book. Be sure to make reservations in advance, particularly for the coveted sites adjacent to the beach.
