Please respect the outdoors by practicing Leave No Trace. Learn more about how to apply the principles of Leave No Trace on your next outdoor adventure here.

Located on a 5-mile stretch of broad, sandy beach between Lincoln City and Newport, Beverly Beach State Park is an excellent daytime destination even if you don’t plan on spending the night at the well-known campground.  If nothing else, use the park’s convenient day-use parking lot, and then stroll out of your car a mere hundred yards and head under the highway for easy access to this remarkable stretch of Oregon coast.  Head north or south along the beach and it won’t be long before you find your own slice of serenity.

Heading back from the beach, enjoy the park’s grassy day-use picnic area, or head into the campground area via the short Spencer Creek Nature Trail, where an old-growth Sitka spruce forest rests along the creek.

Beverly Beach is part of the Otter Rock Marine Reserve. This means that there are specific prohibitions against fishing and the harvesting of fish, invertebrates, and seaweed. Check here for specific clarifications on regulations, exemptions, and a detailed representation of the area's boundaries.

Beautiful one night stay at Beverly Beach State Park! We stayed in a yurt. It was cozy and the heater didn't work very well. So be sure to bring a good sleeping bag or blankets!
