Blue Bay is one of three campgrounds located along the lovely shores of Suttle Lake. This sizable lake is popular with outdoor lovers, especially those looking to get on the water and fish, water ski, or just get out and paddle. Blue Bay Campground offers a boat ramp which can also be used by non-campers for a small fee (annual federal passes are accepted). You’ll also find a fish cleaning station at the campground. For those looking to stay on dry ground, the Suttle Lake Trail runs beside the campground as it makes its way around the lake.

Blue Bay offers 25 regular, non-hookup campsites. Most of the sites are quite nice and shaded, with many offering a great view of the lake. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. There aren’t many amenities at Blue Bay, only drinking water and vault toilets. The campground is open seasonally, usually May through September. Reservations are recommended and can be made at Recreation.gov.
