Nestled in the foothills of the Cascades near Sweet Home, Cascadia State Park is the perfect spot to explore waterfalls, swim, hike, and camp. Whether you're there for the day or the weekend, there is plenty to keep you busy. Hiking trails lead to the 150-foot Soda Creek Falls, and there are swimming and fishing holes along the South Santiam River. Hikers can also head out to Cascadia Cave to view Native American rock art. The small 24-site campground is first-come, first-served, with many sites located along the creek for soothing sounds. There are two reservable group tent areas and two reservable group picnic areas with covered kitchen shelter. The day use areas are open year round, while the campground is open seasonally.
