Corral Springs is a small Forest Service Campground located about 15 minutes northwest of the small town of Chemult. This area has a history of being a popular spot for camping. Corral Springs was located along the Klamath Trail, an ancient Indian trade route, and was used for shelter and water by generations of Native Americans. In the 1800s this site was again used for camping and as a water source by early pioneers, settlers and cattle owners. The Forest Service constructed a campsite here in the 1970s.

Today Corral Springs serves as a secluded place to camp among the beautiful lodgepole pine forest. Camping here is free, with a 14 day stay limit. You’ll find a picnic table and fire ring at each campsite. 2 pit toilets are also located within the campground. The small stream fed by Corral Springs flows through the campground, but no potable water is available. All 5 campsites are first come, first served. Those with large trailers or RVs may have difficulty finding a suitable site here.
