With 22 cabins, a restaurant, a bar, a store, a boat ramp, and a beach, there are very few basic needs that Crescent Lake Resort can’t meet.  The resort is a great option for those who want to experience this beautiful Cascade lake without getting a bunch of outdoor gear together; not only can you leave the kitchen at home, the resort also rents fishing boats, aqua cycles, sea doos, paddle boards, and sea kayaks for days on the lake and mountain bikes for the miles of nearby trails.  For those of you with families, imagine this unusual scenario: having obtained some time off of work and made your reservations, you simply pack the right clothes for everyone, get them in the car (don’t forget the dog!), and go…no boats, bikes, tents or stoves.

Well, pack a cooler, at least, because many of the cabins come complete with kitchens and cookware.  Cabins vary in size from intimate studios to larger, 11-person mini-houses.  All are arranged around the main lodge, though some are a little farther away, and all are available by reservation.  Three night minimums apply in the busy summer months.  The resort is open year-round, though its popularity with snowmobilers may make the cabins more of a winter staging area than a winter retreat.  Winter discounts may make the deal just to good to pass up, however, and the area is rich with winter trail opportunities for skiers and snowshoers.
