Located just outside of Union Creek, Oregon, along the upper Rogue River and on the way to Crater Lake National Park, Farewell Bend Sno-Park is one of the state's best sledding spots. Not only does Farewell Bend offer two unique sledding hills, each with roughly 45 feet of vertical drop, the park also features a rustic warming hut with picnic tables, a wood-fired stove, and firewood and plenty of open space that is perfect for staging the grandest of snowball fights.

While you are visiting the sno-park, be sure to check out the Rogue Gorge (just 0.5 miles down the road) and stop in Union Creek at Beckie's Cafe to grab some hot cocoa and some delicious pie. Both Beckie's Cafe and the Union Creek Resort are open year round.
