Although 10-acre Frog Lake is small for canoeing or kayaking, the lake makes a fine destination for casual exploration, soaking up the sun, and simply taking in the spectacular views of Mount Hood.  Because the lake is shallow, the water will warm up enough by late summer to create an ideal environment for splashing around in the old swim suit.

If you are considering camping in the area, be sure to make early reservations at Frog Lake Campground; claiming one of the 32 campsites at this popular destination can be difficult by mid-summer.
