Gull Point Campground is by far the largest of the cluster of campgrounds flaking North and South Twin Lake, as well as the northern shore and Deschutes Arm of Wickiup Reservoir. With 79 individual campsites, it is about the size of all of the other four campgrounds off of Twin Lakes Road combined. The sites are fairly spacious at Gull Point, and a handful of sites have picturesque views of Wickiup Reservoir mere steps from their campsite. However, visitors can expect heavy crowds at all of the good lakefront campsites at all times and across the entire campground in general during peak times.

Gull Point offers the same facilities as most other campgrounds in the Cascade Lakes region - a long driveway, with a picnic table and a fire pit, and no RV hookups. However, Gull Point is unique in that it offers an RV dump station near the entrance to the campground as well as two quality boat ramps. The west boat ramp is in the campground itself with limited parking, while the east one is a dual boat ramp with one of the largest boat trailer parking areas of any of the lakes in the region, which is better for those visiting for the day.

Gull Point Campground has a very long season compared to other campgrounds in the region, being open by mid-April and remaining open well into October. About half of the sites (specifically the entire west loop, and the two group sites) can be reserved online, and half (the east loop) are first-come, first-served. The east loop tends to be the more crowded of the two due to closer proximity to Wickiup Reservoir, with the sites directly on Wickiup filling up very quickly.
