Hampton Campground and Boat Launch is located along Highway 58 where the Middle Fork of the Willamette River turns into Lookout Point Lake. This campground is especially popular with fishermen and boaters looking for easy access to the water. If your camping priorities don’t align with needing to be on the water, I’d recommend checking out Black Canyon Campground, just upstream, for some nicer campsites.

Hampton Campground offers four campsites within a single open loop. You’ll find a picnic table and fire ring at each campsite, but not much else. There is also a vault toilet located here.

Campsites at Hampton are only $5 per night. There is noise from the nearby highway and train tracks, but the optimal location and easy access to the lake and river may just make up for it.

No reservations are possible, campsites are first come, first served.
