For those looking for a fun, family-friendly day on the mountain, the Hoodoo Autobahn Tubing Park is a great place for tubing and playing in the snow.

This well-maintained tubing hill has multiple groomed lanes about 800 feet long, which make for a fast ride down. A rope tow gets you up to the top easily, or you can skip the line and just walk up. There’s also a warming hut/snack shack at the base for a mid-day break. Tubes are provided (no outside tubes are allowed) and included with the ticket.

There are a few different options for tickets. It’s best to check the website for current pricing and group deals. Note: The parking area has vault toilets, but there are no restroom facilities on the hill.

A more low-key and less expensive tubing hill can be found nearby at Santiam Sno-Park.
