Lookout Mountain is approximately 7 miles east of Mount Hood, and the moderate hike to the summit passes several meadows. From the summit you will gain views of Mount Hood, Three Sisters, and Mount Rainier in addition to the Badger Creek Wilderness. If you continue on the Divide Trail you can also reach Palisade Point, or take the Fret Creek Trail to Oval Lake and Fifteen Mile Campground. Snowpack is usually present on the trail into July.
