Located on the east shore of Lost Lake, Lost Lake Resort and Campground is one of the oldest privately run campgrounds in Oregon.  The Campground itself is quite large, totaling roughly 125 campsites.  All very well maintained, spacious and more private than many campgrounds, particularly the six walk-in campsites that are located along the lake’s shore.  This privacy is critical when the crowds arrive during the summer months.  Although some of the sites are designated as RV sites, there are no electric or potable water hook-ups at any of the sites.  In addition to the large campground, the resort also rents seven very rustic cabins, rooms at the lodge, a general store, a horse campground and a secluded Organization Camp that is perfect for large group retreats.

The campground is a great spot for canoeing and fishing, and there are several hikes to choose from.  The Lost Lake Lakeshore Trail leads around the lake while the Old Growth Trail makes its way through the campground.  Those looking to stretch their legs and explore the area a little further may want to consider a hike up to Lost Butte (4,468').

Note:  The RV designated sites have no electrical or potable water hook-ups.
