Located just an hour’s drive east of Eugene, McKenzie Bridge Campground is a perfect base from which launch a variety of outdoor adventures in the area. The spacious camping sites mitigate any sense of crowding. While there are no electrical hook-ups, basic amenities such as vault toilets and hand pumps for potable water are plentiful.

The campsites are located not far from the river, and many have a private path that leads down to the water. The day use area is also close to the river, and it includes picnic tables and fire pits. If you are there in the summer, you will notice a steady stream of boaters using the boat launch area that is located near the B loop campsites. Belknap, Terwilliger Hot Springs, and Bigalow Hot Springs are not far from McKenzie Bridge. If you have some time to kill, you might want to check out the amazing Dee Wright Observatory within a reasonable driving distance from the campground.

Note that bears are occasionally spotted here, so lock up your food.
