Memaloose State Park is located off of a rest stop on I-84 along the Columbia River. It is little more than an RV park with numerous campgrounds overlooking the river. It features all the amenities one would expect from such a big site, with full RV hookups, flushing toilets, and showers. For the RV lover or tired traveler, this is an adequate stop to stay and regroup before moving on.

There are a few downsides to this site: The highway is very close, as is the rest stop. There are no trails in the park nor any sort of activity options at all barring the playground on site and the many activities one can find along the gorge. Adding to this is the active Union railroad that divides the river from the campsite, so there is no legal or safe river access from the campground.
