Mill Creek Falls is located within the Prospect State Scenic Viewpoint Area (also known as the Mill Creek Falls Scenic Area). The Rogue River flows through this beautiful area which lies just south of the small town of Prospect. Mill Creek Falls is accessed via a short (.75 mile round trip) and scenic hike. Barr Creek Falls is also nearby.

The hike begins from a small parking area off Mill Creek Drive. Find the trail that begins to the right of the lot and follow it downhill. At the first main junction you reach take a right. Continue following the wide and well travelled path downhill through the forest. You’ll soon reach the waterfall viewpoint. Mill Creek Falls is seen on the opposite side of the Rogue.

Once you’ve enjoyed the view, continue on to see Barr Creek Falls or some of the other attractions in the area, or return the way you came back up to the trailhead.
