Molalla River State Park is a humble spot, but if you are looking for a quick break from your routine urban getaways, this could be your place.  Likewise, if you are coordinating a group event and need a little room for your canine friends, there are several group event areas and a fairly large off-leash area nearby.  The park is day use only.

Many of the paths in the park are wide and are either graveled or paved, making them broadly accessible.  Located as it is at the confluence of the Molalla and Willamette Rivers, the park has a good boat landing and a short trail along the Willamette river.  For a short walk, park near the boat landing and look for the Riverside Trail to your left (west).  The trail stays high on the riverbank and traces the edge of private agricultural land before diving down into some thick riparian growth.  Follow this trail to the right to end on the banks of the Willamette.
