Mona Campground is the largest campground on Blue River Reservoir, though the layout of the area coupled with the dense tree canopy keeps the campground from feeling overly crowded.  Mona is essentially a string of sites along a portion of the northwest shore of the reservoir, all of which are serviced by the same campground loop.  This means that there are plenty of great sites with direct access to the water.  A forest road heads south from Mona and provides further access.  Additionally, Mona Campground enjoys close access to the Lookout Boat Ramp, good fishing from a nearby bridge, potable water, and the standard arrangement of picnic tables, fire pits, and vault toilets.  Group sites are the near the end of the loop and are sites 21-23.  Reservations are recommended in the summer as the campground is one of the better official options on this popular reservoir.
