The Ochoco Divide Campground is located approximately 30 minutes from the Painted Hills, which makes it a great base camp for the exploring the area. Sitting in a ponderosa pine forest, the campground is spacious, with plenty of space between campsites.

The group campsite has plenty of space for a large group and has three picnic tables and a fire pit with benches surrounding it.

There is no water accessible, so you need to bring all you will need. The campground host sells firewood. An extra charge of $6 per vehicle per day is enforced, even for the group campsite. There are four vault toilets in the campground.

Ochoco Divide Campground is typically open from mid-May through October.
