Riverside Campground is the first in a line of many lovely campsites located along the Metolius River near Camp Sherman. Riverside is the furthest upstream, and very close to the Head of the Metolius. Campsites here are walk in tent sites only. If you are camping with a trailer or RV please check out the other campgrounds located downstream from Riverside.

Contrary to the name, the campsites at Riverside Campground are not directly on the river, but the Metolius is a just a short stroll away. There are 16 campsites here. Each has a specified parking area, and a short trail leading to the actual site. You’ll find a picnic table and fire ring at all campsites. Vault toilets and a hand pump for water are also located at the campground. Reservations are available and should be made at recreation.gov.
