If you’re looking for a good sledding hill with easy access, Santiam Sno-Park is the place to go. Located along Highway 126/20 just outside of Sisters, this day use area is a great place to play in the snow or explore the backcountry.

The hill is popular with families as it’s one of only two designated sledding areas along the pass. Bring some camp chairs, a picnic lunch and enjoy the powder! Another tubing area is located close by, the Hoodoo Autobahn, which is larger, but also has additional fees associated with it.

A short snowshoe and cross-country skiing trail along the Pacific Crest Trail with access to the backcountry area around Three Fingered Jack starts from the sno-park. Other nearby sno-parks, such as Potato Hill, have longer trails for those looking for more.

Vault toilets are located in the parking area, and sno-park permits are required.
