Spring Campground is an enormous resource for overnight and day use visitors to Crescent Lake.  Though Spring is on the south end of the lake, farthest from Highway 58, the extra distance pays off.  Most of the campsites at Spring are large, well spaced, and equidistant from potable water and vault toilet facilities.

The single sites are all first-come, first-served, and naturally the sites on the water are usually taken first.  That said, grabbing a site a little farther back may just buy you the privacy you are looking for, and really the walk to beach is a short one wherever you camp.  Group sites are available for reservation, and several tent-only sites are grouped together near the west end of the campground.

Spring has a boat ramp and an extensive day use area in an idyllic bay for beach relaxation and swimming.  Unlike Crescent Lake Campground, Spring enjoys an excellent view of Diamond Peak to the west.

Like other campgrounds in the area, Spring closes seasonally from the end of September to mid-May.
