Tahkenitch Landing Campground has a much different feeling than Tahkenitch Campground, its twin on the west side of Highway 1. Of the 27 sites available at Tahkenitch Landing, many are exposed to the elements. There is no potable water, however, there are vault toilets. In addition, there are no hookups in Tahkenitch Landing, though each site has a picnic table and a fire pit.

This campground is all about access to Tahkenitch Lake, an enormous lake known for its bass, perch, and coho. Tahkenitch Landing Campground sits on the banks of the lake, and several sites enjoy lake views. A day use area within the campground has a small boat ramp and two docks for fishing. And this campground is just a quarter mile south of a larger boat ramp that is better suited for motorized boats. While not the most scenic of campgrounds, it's ideal for long days on the lake and easy nights under the stars. Reservations are recommended in the summer season, and unlike Tahkenitch Campground, Tahkenitch Landing Campground is open year-round.
