Thielsen View Campground is located on the quiet western side of Diamond Lake. The campground gets its name because of the stunning view of 9,184ft Mt. Thielsen located just across the lake. Campsites here are fairly private and well shaded. A handful of sites offer a partial view of the lake, but many don’t. Nonetheless, the lake is just a stone’s throw away from anywhere in the campground. There is also a boat ramp available here.

Thielsen View offers 60 campsites. Campers will find sites suitable for anything from tents and vans to larger RVs and trailers. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. There are no hookups available. There are vault toilets and potable water spigots throughout the campground, as well as grey water waste sumps and garbage disposal.

The campground is open seasonally, usually Memorial Day Weekend through late October. Reservations are available here.
