Set among a loose forest of lodgepole pine, Three Creek Meadow Campground and Horse Camp lie just outside of the Three Sisters Wilderness boundary and serve as a key northeast gateway into the scenic area for both hikers and equestrian riders alike. From the campground it's a 5-mile one-way trek to famously stunning Park Meadow and an additional 1.7 miles to Golden Lake, or simply walk a mile from the campground to Little Three Creek Lake or Three Creek Lake where lakeshore beaches await.

In total, the primitive first-come, first-served campground offers 11 spacious campsites, and the horse camp features nine campsites, each with stalls for four horses. The horse camp does have a water trough, but visitors will need to pack in their own water as pulling from the trough is certainly not recommended and the nearby Three Creek Lake Resort has limited supplies of small bottled water. Beyond vault toilets the campground has no amenities, although the camp hosts often sell firewood.

Note: Facilities are generally open from the end of May (Memorial Day Weekend) through end of September, weather permitting. Call Hoodoo Recreation Services for specific dates at 541.338.7869.
