Located on the southern shore of Timothy Lake, Gone Creek Campground is one of eight established campgrounds that encircle the reservoir.  Like several of the other south shore campgrounds at Timothy Lake, Gone Creek acts as a campground and day-use area with campsites, picnic areas, pit toilets, access to potable water and a boat ramp.  Be sure to make reservations early in the summer, as the lake is an extremely popular recreation spot.

If the Gone Creek Campground is full, check the south shore’s other campgrounds: Pine Point Campground, Hoodview Campground and Oak Fork Campground.  If you want a more serene outdoor experience, explore the lake’s North Arm Campground, the walk-in only Meditation Point Campground, or the nearby Little Crater Lake and Clackamas Lake Campgrounds.
