Ukiah-Dale Forest State Park and Campground runs alongside Camas Creek and Highway 395. The campground has 27 sites that are large enough to accommodate RVs, but there are no hookups. There is one restroom facility and a little-used horseshoe pit, but beyond these amenities the area is little more than a quiet wayside.

The Ukiah-Dale scenic cooridor runs between the two small towns of Ukiah and Dale, where Camas Creek eventually joins with the North Fork of the John Day River. The state park moniker is really more of a misnomer. There are no trails that lead from the campground, and most visitors use it as a place to lay over on a longer motor trip. Although this stretch of Highway 395 does not get much traffic, the road runs parallel to the campground, so each passing car can be heard and seen from every camping spot. As a nice quiet spot along the road, if you need a good place to sleep on a trip through the area, this campground is a good option.
