Located at the south end of Wallowa Lake among cottonwood, ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, western larch and grand fir, Wallowa Lake State Park campground is a great base camp for exploring the Wallowas. There are hundreds of miles of hiking trails near the campground, and easy access to the Wallowa Lake Marina for water time fun and abundant fishing opportunities.

The campground offers 121 full-hookup sites (including two ADA sites), 88 non-hookup sites, two hard-sided rustic yurts, three group tent areas, and a hiker-biker area. All campsites have a picnic table and fire pit.  You'll also find restrooms and showers, an RV dump station, firewood, and a playground in the campground. Other summertime campground amenities include an amphitheater, evening programs, interpretive programs, and a junior ranger program.

The campground fills quickly in July and August, and you're encouraged to make reservations in advance. From November through mid-May the two yurts, two of the hookup sites with electrical and sewer, seven non-hookup sites and the four day use areas remain open. The park will offer other sites on a first-come, first-served basis, and they will be plowed for snow for easier access in the winter.
