Whitehorse Falls is a beautiful small waterfall located on the Clearwater River, just off the Rogue-Umpqua National Scenic Byway (Highway 138). Like Clearwater Falls located further upstream, Whitehorse Falls is not a large or impressive waterfall when compared with others nearby, but the tranquility of the area and the beautiful old growth Douglas fir forest found here make it a worthwhile stop.

You’ll find a small picnic area near the parking lot with tables. From here a short, ADA accessible pathway leads to a wooden platform area that overlooks the falls.

The small waterfall tumbles into a large pool where a few large logs rest. The beautiful small river then continues flowing downstream through the serene forest. Enjoy this beautiful spot and be sure to check out some more waterfalls while you are in the area!
