Bald Rock Heritage Preserve is a complex of granite outcroppings adjacent to Caesar's Head State Park comprising 165 acres.

This roadside attraction's main draw is the beautiful panoramic views, and it is usually very crowded because of this. During the fall, it is a prime location to see the foliage change colors. The preserve also includes two headwaters that are instrumental in maintaining the rare species of plants that grow here, including grass of parnassus and piedmont ragwort.

The rockface is covered with brightly-colored graffiti all the way from the parking lot to the bottom, even though it's on public property. The park is only open during daylight hours, but many stargazers see it as a perfect viewpoint to avoid the light pollution of Greenville and other nearby cities.
