Keowee Toxaway State Park is a hidden gem in South Carolina's Jocassee Gorges area. Situated on Lake Keowee with beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, gorgeous trails, picnic areas, camping and a cabin for rent, this is one of the most versatile state parks in South Carolina.

Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards can be rented at the Jocassee Gorges Visitor's Center, and there are multiple areas to put in your own personal-powered watercraft. There are no boat ramps in the park, but lake access for motorized boats can be found 5 miles from the park. Lake Keowee offers outstanding fishing in extremely clear waters. There are two hiking trails within the park, the 1.3 mile Natural Bridge Trail and the 4.4 mile Raven Rock Trail. The park is ideal for birdwatching, and over 75 species have been logged. Picnic shelters are located across the street from the visitor center.
