Long Shoals Roadside Park is located on the Cherokee Scenic Highway (Highway 11) about 2 miles from Keowee Toxaway State Park. It is an easily accessible area to enjoy a picnic and to cool off in the waters of Eastotoe Creek. There is a designated picnic area on a grassy wooded hill at the parking lot. A staircase and trail lead to the creek. There are areas to wade in water up to 3 feet deep and slick rocks that can be used as a slide. This stop makes for a perfect break and nature stop while you are on a long drive.
