Aruba's Surfside Beach is a popular spot for beachgoers as well as locals and those looking for a beach side meal or drink.

Set beside the Camacuri neighborhood, Surfside Beach combines amenities such as accessible shore, bars and restaurants, with easy central access via car or foot to have the feel of a lively yet relaxed beach locale visited by both locals and tourists.

The beach has a large parking lot, and Plaza Turismo and Linear Park share a large walkway into the beach. These park areas have exercise equipment, plenty of outdoor tables and space for sitting and gathering, and bars and restaurants that pick up at night.

The beach itself is a wide calm cove protected from the surf by the north end of Renaissance Island. As a result, there are no waves lapping up along the narrow strip of white sand unless created by the wake of a passing boat. Several restaurants are perched just above the sand, offering guests the chance to dine in the open air with views of the boats and fishermen on the water. Paddle boarding is a popular activity here.

One edge of Surfside borders the northern fence of the Queen Beatrix International Airport runway, and the occasional planes passing right above the beach make for booming spectacles.

There are no lifeguards at Surfside Beach. Water and food are available in the nearby restaurants and bars. There is no cost to park in the lot at the southern end of the beach.
