Foster Falls is a 60-foot waterfall located in the Fiery Gizzard area of South Cumberland State Park. It’s beauty alone is enough to attract visitors, but add in the abundance of recreational opportunities nearby such as hiking and rock climbing, and it gets even better.

There is a vantage point that provides a great view of the falls within a stone's throw from the parking lot, but for those who wish to get closer, there are trails leading above and below the falls that provide a much better view.

As mentioned above, the Foster Falls area is a mecca for rock climbers. There are almost 200 climbing routes located nearby ranging from 5.7 to 5.13. Permits are required.

The pool at the base of Foster Falls also makes for a refreshing place to cool off after a long (or short) day. Jumping from any cliffs is dangerous and strictly prohibited, however.
