Parksville Lake RV Campground is a small campground located near the Ocoee River and beautiful Parksville Lake. There are abundant recreational opportunities nearby, and not just limited to the lake - although spending some time fishing, boating, swimming or even just relaxing by the shore is a must. The campground itself is not directly on the lake, but it can be accessed by a short walk or drive. Many miles of trails also take off from near the campground and lead up the beautiful Rock Creek.
The campground consists of 16 sites, including one double site. Each site is relatively private and has a more primitive feel than at many campgrounds. The area is forested and all sites and heavily shaded. Rock Creek runs nearby and just behind several of the campsites.
Amenities here are somewhat limited, although all sites do provide an electric hookup. There is a centrally located bathhouse with flushing toilets, warm water and showers. A dump station is also located near the campground entrance.
Parksville Lake RV Campground is open from March - January. Please check ahead of your visit as exact dates may differ year to year. There is also a group campground across the street that is available for tent campers only.
