The Needles Campground is the only campground available within the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park (not including backcountry camping of course). There are 26 individual campsites at the Needles. During the busy spring and fall months half of these sites are reservable while the other half are first come, first serve. During the less popular summer and winter months the “B Loop” is closed and the “A Loop” is first come, first serve.

The majority of the campsites at The Needles offer a bit of a scenic view of the surrounding canyon country. Most sites also have trees or large boulders that provide some shade. Every site has a picnic table and fire ring. Restrooms are located throughout the campground and potable water is available seasonally. No hookups or electric available.

In addition to the 26 individual campsites, there are 3 group sites available. These group sites are not within the campground, rather they are in different locations throughout the Needles District. All 3 group sites can accommodate 15 people, with one site capable of hosting up to 50. The group sites are open March 15-November 15 and should be reserved online up to 6 months in advance.
