Dean Gardner Campground is one of the handful of campgrounds located in the scenic Pine Valley. At an elevation of 6,700ft Pine Valley can be a welcome relief from the summer heat of the nearby St. George area. You’ll find a number of hiking trails in the area, and Pine Valley Reservoir also boarders the campground.

There are 21 single sites, and 3 double sites at Dean Gardner Campground. The campsites are shaded by large Ponderosa pine trees, and many offer a great view of the surrounding Pine Valley Mountains. Pine Valley Reservoir is also a short stroll from the campsites and offers fishing and recreational opportunities.

At each campsite you’ll find a picnic table and fire ring. There are also vault toilets and drinking water available throughout the campground.

The campground is open seasonally, usually late April through late September. Reservations are possible and can be made by visiting Recreation.gov.
