The Pine Valley Equestrian Campground is one of the handful of campgrounds located in this scenic valley. At an elevation of 6,700ft Pine Valley can be a welcome relief from the summer heat of St. George. You’ll find a number of trails in the area, and the Equestrian Trail takes off from just behind the campground. Pine Valley Reservoir is also a short distance away.

The Equestrian Campground is - you guessed it - primarily designed for campers with livestock. In fact, campsites within the equestrian campground are reserved for campers with horses until 6pm, then they can be claimed by any campers.

You’ll find 11 single campsites, 4 double sites, 2 single tent only sites, 1 double tent only site, and 1 multi site at the Equestrian Campground. Picnic tables and fire pits are found at each campsite. Horse corrals, vault toilets and drinking water are also located throughout the campground.

The campground is open seasonally, usually late April through early October. Reservations may be made by visiting Recreation.gov.
