Hunter Canyon Campground is a small campground located at the mouth of Hunter Canyon where it meets Kane Springs Canyon. The towering sandstone walls provide lots of shade making this a cool, refreshing place to camp during the hot summers. With downtown Moab only a 20 minute drive away Hunter Canyon is conveniently located as well.

There are seven campsites available. Four of these sites are located on the Kane Springs Creek side of the road and are suitable for tent campers and those with vans or small trailers. These sites are a bit more open and not entirely private.

On the Hunter Canyon side of the road are the other three campsites that are “walk in” and only suitable for tent campers. These sites are quite nice with Hunter Canyon Creek flowing beside and trees providing a fair amount of privacy and shade.

None of the campsites have any hookups or water available. There is a vault toilet located within the campground. Note that all sites are first come, first serve with no reservations.
