Juniper is the most popular campground at Rockport State Park for a few reasons, not the least of which is that it's the only one with showers. It is also the only campground with RV electrical hookups, and every site has its own water faucet. Juniper also provides more shade and privacy between sites than many others because of better tree cover. One disadvantage is that the beach right next to camp is very rocky, but a nicer beach is a short walk away.
Like other campgrounds, each site provides a picnic shelter with table, grill and fire pit. There is only one toilet location, which is next to the showers near the middle of the campground.
Note: Juniper Point Campground is open from May 1 through October 31.
