Logan River Trail is a non-technical, easy hike for families of all ages. The trail is well maintained and can be used even in Winter. The trail follows the grade of the river so it doesn't have large uphill portions. Along the trail you will notice many stopping spots for resting. Specifcally you'll come across one of the many dams along the Logan River. This one is called Second Dam. This where many people stop for a picnic or to fishing along the shores. The trail can be very busy due the relative easiness and closeness to town.

The trails starts at the beggining of Logan Canyon and continues for a few miles along the banks of the river before you need to turn back. There is a branch of the trail called Bridger Look Off that can be accessed from this trail as well.

This trail follows the river but consequently, the highway also follows the river too. So you do notice a large of traffic noises from the trail. Return where you came from and enjoy a nice hike in the woods!
