Lone Mesa Group Campground is a great option for large parties and is located up Highway 313, fairly close to both Dead Horse State Park and Canyonlands National Park. In addition to the parks there are plentiful opportunities for recreation nearby including mountain biking, hiking, and 4x4 roads. The Lone Mesa sites are fairly exposed and about 1,000 feet higher in elevation than nearby Moab. This can be a good or bad thing, depending on the weather!

There are 5 group sites at Lone Mesa. Each site has plentiful room for camping and can accommodate groups of up to 30. Large trailers and RVs will fit fine at Lone Mesa.

Each group site has picnic tables with shade shelter and a fire pit with grate. Vault toilets are also on site. Note that no hookups or drinking water is available at Lone Mesa.

Reservations are available and recommended. Click here for more information.
