Mount Timpanogos Park is located right off Highway 189 outside of Orem. Although the highway nearby provides an unwanted source of constant traffic noise, the park is still a nice area to visit and offers great views of namesake Mount Timpanogos.

The park was originally designed and built to host the large Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. There are many picnic pavilions located throughout the park that make for great locations for a gathering. The pavilions range in size from small to large. Covered picnic tables and BBQ grills are found at each pavilion. To reserve a pavilion in advance you can contact Orem City Rec Center at (801) 229-7151.

Mount Timpanogos Park is great for walking and bicycling. You can stroll though the park on the paved pathways, or connect to other nearby trails. The paved Provo River Parkway path runs next to the park and alongside the river, and the Orem Bike Skills Trail Park is also located here.

The park is also a great place to just relax, toss around a frisbee, or enjoy the large open grassy areas provided.

Lastly, the Orem Dog Park is also located here.
