Murray Park is a lovely city park that allows you to enjoy nature without having to leave town. There are a handful of different entrances and parking areas, but regardless of where you begin you can explore the park via interconnecting walkways.

Little Cottonwood Creek is the centerpiece of the park as it flows gracefully through the length of Murray Park. It widens in one area, almost forming a bit of a pond where ducks and waterfowl can often be found.

The park’s gazebo is also a highlight and makes for a picturesque location.

There are five pavilions throughout the park, each can be reserved and rented for a fee. Contact the City of Murray for more information: 801-264-2614.

There are paved pathways that lead throughout the park that make for a great walk or bicycle ride. There are also many other attractions at Murray Park including softball fields, soccer fields, multipurpose fields, playgrounds, an amphitheater, outdoor aquatic center, the park center (a recreation, aquatics, and fitness center), and more.

As you can see, Murray Park is a great option for those looking to recreate or simply enjoy a stroll in the park alongside Little Cottonwood Creek.
