Along the way to the Oak Grove Recreation Area in Leeds, Utah, are dozens of primitive and dispersed camping sites on each side of the road. You can pull a trailer up to the larger ones near the bottom, but they get smaller and more tent-based as you head higher up. There is a paid campground at the top of the road with facilities, but these dispersed sites are free. There are some amazing views along the drive, especially near the top and the bottom of the long dirt road. Near the top you are surrounded by mountains and can enjoy views all the way to Zion National Park below and the various mesas and valleys around Leeds. There are even a few trails, including one to the top of Signal Peak, and fresh water springs in the area. Keep your eyes peeled for the wild turkeys you may hear gobbling in the scrub oak.

Oak Grove Canyon Road (FR032) is pretty long and rocky at times, but it is usually just a two-wheel drive road unless it has rained recently. There are lots of great things to do nearby, including visits to Yant Flat or the Red Cliffs Trail.
