Sheep Creek Dispersed Camping Area is located a short distance away from Highway 6, off Forest Road 051 in the Uinta National Forest. Its central location between Provo and Price make it a good overnight option for those passing through. You also can’t beat the price (free!).

Sheep Creek Camping Area has no amenities and is simply a place to spend the night. The camping is located in a large open field area. If the weather has been wet recently this area may be muddy and unsuitable for driving - use caution.

There are about half a dozen campfire rings spread out across the camping area, but there is room for many more campers here. Don’t expect much privacy from your neighbors however.

Sheep Creek Camping Area offers wide open views of the surrounding mountains, and there are opportunities to further explore the National Forest nearby. There are no amenities here, including no restrooms. Stays are limited to 14 days.
